Thank you for linking arms with The Ruth Project to love and encourage children and their foster families! Check out these “Serving To-Go” opportunities that make it easy for you and your groups to make an impact for our precious families right at your location.

Current Projects:

Encouragement Cards, Boxes, & Bags

All our families and children need to be encouraged! This project includes blank cards, cupcake boxes, and bags to decorate for special occasions such as birthdays, Mother’s Day, or Support Events. We have links for you to purchase the cards, boxes, and bags; bring your own Sharpies and creativity!

Casserole Crews

Gather in a kitchen to assemble casseroles to gift families in our monthly “Dash and Dine” event or individual family encouragement. We provide the recipes – you combine the ingredients. It’s that easy – and creates an evening of fun and fellowship!

Dash and Dine Desserts

Gather in a group member’s kitchen to bake your group’s favorite cookies and/or bars. We can provide recipes if needed. Your group bakes and packages each dozen in a gallon Ziplock bag. Our standard need is 25-50 dozen per month.

Bags of Joy

These lovely gift sacks are perfect for moms and young ladies! We’ll include them in our Dash and Dine boxes, in birthday gift bags, or individual gift baskets. Depending on your group size, we will provide 50-100 sacks to fill with items that your team chooses and supplies related to our upcoming Events

Cookies or Soup in a Jar Kits

These are so simple to assemble and are a great family activity and treat for Dash and Dine, Welcome to The Ruth Project gift, or birthday bags. We have cookie, brownie, and even soup recipes!

Child’s Sensory Kits

Assemble activity boxes that help children engage in calming and creative play. Simply fill compartment boxes with a variety of items such as wooden beads, sand, animal figures, pom-poms, buttons, Legos, marbles, faux flowers, crinkle paper, or shells. The list goes on and on!

Men’s Encouragement Bags

We can’t forget our foster Dads need encouragement, too! Decorate and fill gift bags with items they’ll enjoy.

Character-Themed No-Sew Blankets

No-Sew Blankets are one of the gifts each foster family child receives as we welcome them to The Ruth Project. Those with favorite characters such as Spider Man or Bluey can provide extra comfort and familiarity

Throw a Shower for The Ruth Project

Our expanded Storage Barn now has space for large items that new and growing foster families regularly need such as various sized car seats, twin mattresses, portable cribs, and highchairs. Keeping these on hand makes it easy for quick delivery! Safety standards require these to be brand new, so combining resources for a “shower” is a great idea for groups!

Let’s Feed the Animals

Our animals at The Farm offer comfort and friendship to kids from 9 to 99. Bagging animal food in the right amounts makes it easy for our families to feed our precious creatures!
